This week includes doctor’s appointments of all sorts, more work in and around the home, and meeting Tyler at the boatyard to haul out Kailani. The bottom looks really good for it’s age but we sand and repaint anyway, and as for the zincs, suffice to say, they did their job and are nearly all gone. So it’s good we did this work at this time. Tyler also notices that we experienced some separation from the bearing housing to the hull at the point where the propeller shafts exit the hull, so we’ll need to repair those issues as well. Homer does a great job on the paint and Tyler and Jesse complete the zinc replacements along with the hull to shaft joint repairs.
